Dakota Blue Richards
Dakota Blue Richards was born in England. She's an English actress. She has played Lyra Belaqua in 'The Golden Compass', as well as Franky Fitzgerald in the British teenager drama Skins. The actress has also been involved on stage, appearing in productions of plays like "Arcadia" and "A Streetcar Named Desire'. Richards, a Londoner by birth, grew up along her home on the Sussex coast. Richards attended a few acting classes at school, however, she took the majority of acting lessons at the weekend. She would skip school in order to audition. "The Golden Compass" was her first appearance onscreen as an actress. Richards was generally praised for her acting skills, it received only mediocre critiques. In the following year, she made her small screen debut on television in the film "Dustbin baby".
