Rebecca Romijn (born in New York City) is an American model and actor most well-known as the actress of Mystique as the protagonist from the first of three parts of X-Men. Romijn was part of a Marvel filmtitled "The Punisher", in which she portrayed Joan. Romijn started her career as a professional model and was employed by companies such as Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. Her modeling career was over a 10 years. She then decided to focus her efforts on her acting. Her career in Hollywood is not as successful as her career on TV. She starred as 'Alexis Mead' in the drama comedy "Ugly Betty" and "Jessie Nichols" in the the NTSF SUV.' Other roles she has played include "King and Maxwell" as well as The Librarians'.
