Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley Ann Brandt (born December 2, 1981) is an South African actress, model and television personality. Brandt, who began her acting career in the new Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom she made her American debut with the role of Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on numerous TV series in the past decade. These include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is currently appearing as Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa. After her late teens, she emigrated together with family members to Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model when she appeared in magazine and television ads. Before her rise to fame as a model she worked in retail sales as well as working as an expert in recruitment for information technology. The first time she was featured, she landed her part in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character as Leilani Fa'auigaese. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2021, when she appeared as the character of slave-girl Naevia on the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her role as Naevia was reprised on the Spartacus prequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker starred alongside her on three shows that aired on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she began playing an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen in the Netflix show Lucifer. The character she played on Lucifer is her most famous role to date. The show co-stars her with Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo has a number of popular TV shows she has a track record of. She is the very first American to broadcast live directly through an exchange like the New York Stock Exchange. Over the course of her twenty-year career as a journalist, Bartiromo had a significant role in establishing the television channel CNBC to become one of the most prominent in economic and business coverage. The success of her journalistic work makes one believe that the female was always destined to work in this field. When she was a teen, Maria struggled to decide what career path she would like to pursue. Maria would one day want to become a musician, then an interior designer. Her interest was drawn by the excitement of journalism, and has never looked at a different direction. She is a great journalist, and she's an example for girls who want to make it into male-dominated professions. Awarded as one of "50 Faces of Decade" she became the first journalist woman to enter the Cable Hall of Fame. She's also a writer as well as a columnist.
